Reasons Why We Do Not Heal
Use these two pages as a filter in your own life and in turn apply these ideas to students who are attracted to you. When someone is not willing to let go of their crutches, you will know that they are not ready to heal. These listings are not in any particular order.

1.DENIAL

The solution is to first get out of denial. Begin with the truth. It takes great courage to face the truth and allow Spirit to flow through your heart instead of your mind.

2.SHALLOW BREATHING

Deep, proper breathing is a powerful technique to release negative thoughts. When you find yourself locked into a particular emotional rut, quickly center yourself and begin concentrating on deep breathing. This will act as a pump to keep the thoughts moving through the mind. This helps to eliminate automatic thinking. Deep breathing is a way to take our power back.
3. BODY ABUSE HAS TAKEN IT’S TOLL
Too much of anything will overload the body causing an imbalance. Maybe the next cup of coffee will tip the scales to the point of no return. Addiction is giving our power away
.
4. BEING SICK BRINGS LOTS OF ATTENTION
Being sick has a ‘payoff’. There are many rewards of illness to keep us imbalanced. Rewards for inappropriate behavior keeps us locked in to imbalance. When we are lacking attention, we can subconsciously make ourselves sick, to be noticed. Erroneous thoughts like, if I am not sick anymore, there will be no love.
5. BELIEF WE CANNOT HEAL
Usually because we have been convinced by someone of authority. Incurable dis-ease is incomplete information. When the body "get’s" something, it can be released with the proper wholistic treatments when applied in time.
6. DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO SOMEONE ELSE TO HEAL US
We cannot heal when we delegate the authority to someone else to fix it for us. We must be our own doctor and become responsible for our own healing. Our participation is important in making lifestyle changes.
7.EMBRACING THE VICTIM ROLE
Playing the victim role keeps us locked into the negative. The most important responsibility we have during this lifetime is to love ourselves. We cannot heal until we do. Love yourself enough take your power back and not to be a victim anymore.

8. NEGATIVE EMOTIONS
When negative emotions are continually expressed in thought and words, they will vibrate to a corresponding organ system. Negative thoughts will create toxins in the body which will break down the immune system. When we have any negative expressions we give our power away. When we begin to listen and understand the words we are saying, we can begin to eliminate dis-ease. When we carry fear, worry and anger in our minds, we cannot really feel or demonstrate the energy of unconditional love, which is the greatest force on the Planet. Freeing ourselves of repeated negative emotions is true preventative healing.
9. RESPONSIBILITY
We have become symptom chasers. We have a tendency to isolate illness and place the blame outside of ourselves. When we assume we are at the mercy of germs and viruses, we place the blame on some external source, instead of looking internally at factors within our control. We then relinquish control over our present state of health. Allergies, germs and viruses are real as they are the result of imbalance. All dis-ease comes from within. Only we can heal ourselves.
10.WRONG NUTRITIONAL CHOICES
Eating improperly prepared ‘non-foods’ will keep us in a state of dis-ease. Is this food healthy enough to become part of me? We become what we eat and digest.
11.BLAMING ‘OLD AGE’
‘Old age’ is a cop-out and is used as a scapegoat for not living life to it’s fullest. Age is a frame of mind. Learning and being open to change keeps us young.
12. LACK OF JOY
It is our responsibility to find the joy. The joy is there, we just have to look for it. Laughter is sound with a wide smile to express positive emotions. It is the manifestation of joy. Laughing contracts the body’s muscles and increases the heart and respiration rate. Add more color into your life.
13.OVERCOMING THE EGO
Ego is an illusion. Sickness is escaping reality. By letting go of our feelings of being separate, we will have a greater sense of uniqueness as an individual. This is a process of evaluation. My ego is standing guard and my personality is the shield. A way to get past the ego is to simply ask for help. Half of our healing process is done with releasing the ego.
14. UNABLE TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS
If 2 are good for me I will take 4. With the tool of muscle testing, we can now determine exactly what our requirements are. Practice discipline and pay attention. Get organized, follow through with instructions and be consistent.
15. PAIN MEDICATION
These ‘miracle drugs’ lie to the body by putting the body’s warning system to sleep. The pain may be gone, but the problem is still present. Treating the symptoms does not alleviate the root cause of the problem. Pills upset the body’s intelligence. Pain can be eliminated from the body when we apply the correct methods of wholistic therapy.
16.YOU HAVE NOT LEARNED TO LOVE OR FORGIVE
We must learn to forgive others for what they did not do for us, rather than what they did to us. This way ‘they’ are forgiven for not being kind to us, rather than forgiving ‘them’ for hurting us. It is impossible to practice true forgiveness and to heal when we believe that something has been done to harm us. This way we can truly forgive the abuser. Without forgiveness, the abuser will continue to abuse us. It is very important in the healing process to learn to love unconditionally, and to really forgive. Forgiveness is necessary to attain good health.
17. NAMING THE DIS-EASE
Giving the dis-ease a name is a negative expression that keeps one, locked into the imbalance. It is the language that separates us from good health. It is important is not give power to the negative. We cannot gain good health by contemplating dis-ease. It is best to identify the imbalance by the organ system involved. This will give more insight to the situation.
